but there have been no societies that did not tell stories.”
(Ursula Le Guin) This is an interactive workshop designed to introduce you to the power of storytelling and to provide you with some ideas, strategies and materials intended to help you motivate your pupils to be creative, enjoy themselves and buildup their fluency in all four skills. The objective is to contextualize learning a foreign language through the magical world of stories.

Biodata: Manuela Calzini was born in Northumberland in England. Educated at Surrey and London University – since 1990 she has spent most of her time in Italy where she has held various teaching posts. She started working as a teacher trainer on ministerial courses for primary school teachers in 1995. Since 2005 she works for Trinity College Italy.
